Event review: La Clique

Do you love circus? Live performers? Great cabaret? Pimms?

This weekend I thought I would go to check out what’s on at the Underbelly.

underbelly

Pre-covid I used to love going to the Southbank and get a taste of the summer shows, the cabaret, the Pimms at the purple cow.

Underbelly has a long track record of really cool shows, read their story here. Some highlights:

2000 – Underbelly Cowgate opened at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe

2006 – Violet (their upside-down Cow theatre) took up residence in Bristo Square at the Fringe

2008 – London’s Original Pop Up Festival, right on the banks of the Thames, popped up at Southbank

This year I thought I would check out their show in Cavendish Square, London, Underbelly’s new home.

I heard about La Clique from a friend, and I had to check it out.. and oh my!! It was one of London’s best shows I have seen in a very long time 🙂

This multi-award winning show is an international, trailblazing cabaret, featuring incredible performers from the all over the world with background in circus, comedy, and cabaret.

Born in 2004 at the Edinburgh Fringe, this cabaret show gained international recognition and toured across the globe. Do not miss it out, it’s only going to be on for another few weeks!

Absolutely so much fun, adults only, funny, sexy, and so very naughty. Just how I like it 🙂
