Event review: Sunday Worship

Sunday Worship by Divine Darkness Events

A ritual of devotion, desire and deep connection.

I attend, when I have time, a fair few femdom events. Each one has its own personality. Sunday Worship by Divine Darkness definitely does. It happens on a Sunday afternoon and the vibe is much more ceremony than club night. The vetting call for new attendees sets the tone straight away. You know exactly what kind of space you are stepping into.

The event is in North East London in an unassuming warehouse-style building that looks like absolutely nothing from the outside. Step inside and it shifts completely. The space is all leather, cushions, toys and enough room to actually move. There are couches, kinky furniture, rugs and beds for play or just catching up with people. Goddesses and Godx wear whatever makes them feel powerful and embodied. Worshippers turn up in simple underwear with a collar or a bow tie (by turn up I mean they get changed at the venue… That look is amazing indoors but I am not sure TFL would encourage that).

It looks great. I have a soft spot for men and NB people in underwear with collars, so I am biased, but it gives the room this soft, ritual energy from the start.

The opening ceremony begins with cacao, warm and grounding. After a short meditation we set intentions and share small things about ourselves. Worshippers write down their offerings and drop them into a small treasure box (who doesn’t like small wooden boxes full of naughty things?). Later, the Goddesses and Godx draw from it at random. It is basically a playful suggestion pool to get things moving. Then we do grounding games and connect with the other guests. It stays light, curious, and gentle.

Once the mingle games are done, that’s when free play starts. People naturally find whatever (with whomever) they want to explore. Some go straight for impact play on the spanking bench. Others drift into massage, foot worship or soft sensation play. Some just talk, flirt or enjoy closeness without anything sexual. Nothing is forced. Worship is offered, not demanded, and the whole thing reminded me a lot of the Wheel of Consent but in real life. Every request can be accepted or declined. Consent is something you can literally feel in the room.

Like many kink events, this one is sober. It makes everything clearer. People are present and tuned in. There is no rushing and no performing. Just adults creating something together.

The event ends with a gentle circle to bring everyone back into the room. It is a small detail but an important one. Sunday Worship stays with you afterwards.

A unique gathering. The sort of thing that can only be created by kinksters for kinksters. I always say, build the event you want to see in the community (see: Organise the event you want to see). Divine Darkness has done exactly that.

We had cacao drinks! But I dont have a picture as (as always) phones are not allowed at kinky parties.

And that is all for today, take care and keep it kinky!!

Who is Mistress Jayne?

Mistress Jayne is a Dominatrix and Shamanic Sex Witch who weaves together sacred sexuality, conscious kink and ritual practice. Her work creates spaces where we can unravel sexual shame, reclaim our power and meet ourselves in a place of sacred union.

She guides those who want to explore BDSM and sink into the pleasures of sadistic sensuality, submission and worship. Her sessions offer a place to express hidden desires in a world that demand us always to stay in control, be “nice”, stay “quiet”.

With her, people can surrender what they carry and step into who they truly are.
