Alexander McQueen is always been such an eccentric and charismatic artist, threading on the edge between the unconventional and the unthinkable.

With McQueen’s new exhibition in town (it’s called ‘Roses‘, read more on Vogue here), it made me thing of ‘Savage Beauty‘ at the V&A from a few year back. I am sure you all have seen some of his work, even if you didn’t know it was his.

‘Savage Beauty’ was a splendid and daring work of art; feathers, leather, and shells brought together a reality that was dark, alluring, and eluding.
