TV review: Outlander (more kilt stuff)

Gonna be honest with you… after watching Men in Kilts, and discovering I might have a kilt fetish, I decided to watch Outlander, just so I could get to perv on more sexy men in kilts.

So yes, this is not technically a review, more like and Ode to men in kilts. Also enjoyed one of the sexiest sex scenes I have seen on a period drama, around the end of episode nine, first season.

Sexy men in kilts, steamy period sex, and time-travelling slow-burn kink.

Look no further!

Outlander is deliciously indulgent TV. Like a cocktail that is equal parts historical drama, time-travel fantasy, and slow-burn kink.

Between the corsets, the consent, and the smouldering glances, there’s plenty to get hot under the kilt… erm collar about. But beyond the bodice-ripping, it’s a story of love, power, pain, belonging, and longing.

Multi layered, like a cake or a lasagna, it’s emotional and at times surprisingly deep. Come for the steamy scenes (and occasional twisted stuff), stay for the political intrigue and the complex characters who constantly push the boundaries of what devotion really means. Oh and let’s not forget the tartan!

Trailer below as usual!
