Event review: The London Femdom Soiree by Lady Isla

Earlier this month, I attended the The London Femdom Soirée (not my first time, and still as fun as ever!). The event is all about female laughter and male submission, and that’s exactly what I needed this year.

Here is my review of the event, to give you a better idea of what goes on behind closed doors, and maybe inspire you to attend in the future!

EVENT: This event is called Femdom Soirée for very good reasons. You see, this doesn’t feel like a party as such, nor it is a social or a mingle. But instead, it’s a more intimate evening, with live entertainment, in a private location in Central London. The theme is always the same: turn the poor submissive souls who bought a ticket into our own entertainment for the night. Hihihi.

VENUE: The event takes place in a privately owned dungeon in Old Street area, it’s a well equipped flat, with both furniture, toys, a kitchen, and a little semi-outdoor bit. The venue also comes with a support manager, who is available throughout the evening for any questions re furniture, toys, and other venue related things.

GUESTS & TICKETS: There are three types of tickets, depending on what role you’ll be playing. All roles are subject to vetting ahead of time:

• Subs: this very small (and privileged) group will end up being stripped, mocked, humiliated, dominated, and tortured for the Dommes’ fun and joy (for such reason, I would not recommend this event to newbies). There are generally only 3-4 spots available (yes, very outnumbered), and each ticket goes for £250 to cover most of the venue hire for the evening.
• Dommes: made up of a mix of various ages, backgrounds, and experience level, everyone is there to have some fun and play games! Dommes tickets go for £10 each and cover cost of nibbles and some bubbles for us; these are limited to about 10-20 tickets, depending on the number of subs tickets sold (to create a nice balance). 
• Service sub: there is an additional ticket at £100; the service sub will often wear a lovely maid outfit, and their job is to be the butler/maid and give the occasional foot massage (perfect if you’d like to check out the event for the first time as a sub).

TIMING: The event runs about 4-5 times a year, generally early/mid week. Starting time is different for Dommes and subs. Dommes meet in a pub nearby around 6.15pm, and then head to venue just before 7pm. Subs instead (entertainment or service) head straight to the venue at 6.45. The party starts at 7pm and goes on until 10pm, and sometimes is followed by drinks at the pub to unwind.

ACTIVITIES: Lady Isla does an amazing job at running many little fun games for us to play, which both help break the ice and set the mood of the party in a structured way! Games included making subs do a little naked twister, some target practice on the subs buttholes with a nerf gun, a quick c*ck and ball tug of war, and so much more. Occasionally, there is a little forced bi, but this is negotiated ahead of time between the subs themselves.  

As the evening progresses, we move away from structured games into pick up play. Some of the Dommes partake, while some sip on bubbles whilst getting a foot massage. Play outside games is generally not planned and generally happens in a more spontaneous way; of course, any play is discussed and negotiated between the Domme(s) and the submissive(s). 

DRESS CODE: For the Dommes? Whatever you fancy! Anything from comfy to fetish, and everything in-between. For the submissive? I am afraid it’s mostly nothing. Bwhahaha. Yes, they stripped naked for our entertainment, and stay naked until the end of the night. Chastity cages, socks with frills, and other accessories are optional. 

VIBES: The atmosphere is pretty fun and lighthearted, I would say ‘cheeky with a mean streak’. As we do a quick intro amongst the Dommes at the start of the evening, it feels very much like a dinner party with friends. Everyone is welcome to get as little or as much involved as they want, both Dommes and Subs, keeping it quite relaxing overall.

OTHER RULES: As usual, photography by guests is not allowed and safeword is red for both subs and Dommes.
