Reflecting, connecting, and looking ahead with love and leather
As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the ups and downs of 2024—a year that was far from predictable.
It brought unexpected heartaches and sadness, yet it also gave me moments of pure joy, resilience, and connection. Through it all, the kink community has been my sanctuary. You’ve shown me what solidarity and true camaraderie mean, whether we’re tying rope knots or untying the emotional struggles life throws at us.
Some highlights? This year, I giggled at the FemDom South Christmas party (follow them on FL to find out when the next event is), where the balls-busting competition was oh so very entertaining and where I had the pleasure of quadruple-Domming a rather adorable sub.
I celebrated the 21st anniversary at Club Pedestal, where the air was exciting and the cake yummy (review of the party and interview with the organiser), and I also had the honour of co-planning the Club’s very first Xmas Party, to celebrate this year together with Matriarchs, House Slaves, and Organisers.
And I forged connections with new friends from unexpected places—proof that the kink community doesn’t just welcome diversity; it thrives on it (always worth attending a munch or two).
To everyone who shared a flogging good time, a shoulder to lean on, or a wink across the dungeon floor, THANK YOU. You’ve helped make this year a beautiful contradiction: bittersweet yet rewarding, challenging yet empowering.
So here’s to a fabulous 2025! May your rope never fray, your paddles find willing partners, and your safewords only ever be used for playful pauses.
Let’s embrace the New Year with open hearts, boundless imagination, and maybe even a little leather-bound mischief.
Happy Kinkmas, and see you in 2025!

PS: below is a kinky version of one of my very fav Xmas carols! I was lucky enough to be the spectator of our lovely Club Pedestal’s House Slaves performing it for us at the Xmas Party, so I was inspired to make a kinky version for a little extra fun 🙂
